Jaquith Consulting Group (JCG) was proud to attend InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin, Germany, recognized as the world's largest trade fair for transportation technology. The event marked two milestones: it was the California High-Speed Rail Authority's first official presence at InnoTrans and JCG's first time attending. 

While there, JCG leaders Steven Jaquith and Bill Grimsley were provided an opportunity to support the Authority at its booth as it shared California's high-speed rail program with a global audience. Over the week, our team connected with industry leaders and program delivery professionals from around the world and came home with new ideas and new relationships.

On February 3, 2026, the California High-Speed Rail Authority celebrated the completion of the Southern Railhead Facility in Kern County.

During the ceremony, a special display box featuring a powder-coated spike and cog from the railyard in Wasco was presented to Governor Gavin Newsom by Authority CEO Ian and our team member Bill Grimsley. This symbolic gift recognized the governor's continued support and commitment to advancing the CA High-Speed Rail (CAHSR) project.

We're incredibly proud to share that Bill played a key role in both the identification of the Wasco railyard and completion of the Southern Railhead Facility. His technical expertise, persistence, and understanding of the region's infrastructure helped lay the groundwork for this milestone.
